Cynthia Hernandez

Cynthia Hernandez, 52, of Merrillville, Indiana, passed away at the Porter Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2019.  She was born on January 17, 1967 in East Chicago, Indiana, to Roman and Francisca (Flores) Garcia.  She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Ricardo Hernandez; children, Danella (Alexander) Maldonado, Celestine Perez, Ricardo Elias Hernandez; granddaughters, Jayda Maldonado, Khloe Maldonado; brothers and sisters, Herlinda Navarez, Christina Garcia, Elsa Garcia, Sylvia Garcia, Alfredo Gonzalez, Ricardo Garcia, Eduardo Garcia; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Cynthia was an amazing mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life.  She was a great cook and was a very loyal person.  She was selfless, strong and bold.  Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.  Cynthia will be dearly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
