Lorenzo C. Davila

Lorenzo C. Davila, 71, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago on Saturday, September 28, 2019.  He was born in East Chicago, Indiana, to Lorenzo and Elodia (Alcala) Davila on April 26, 1948.  On October 13, 2018 he married the love of his life, Anna M. (Ventura) Davila and she survives.  He is also survived by his loving sons, Nicholas C. Davila and Marcus L. Davila; loving step-sons, Joseph Apodaca and Estevan Apodaca;  precious four grandchildren, Marisa, Brodie, Emma, and Drina; devoted sisters, Brigida (Late – Joe Nuno) Ochoa, Elodia Samano, Oliva (Luis) Estrada, Petra Vaca; numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, and other relatives.  Lorenzo will be remembered as a brilliant artist and photographer.  He loved music.  He also thought he was the funniest guy in the room.  The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, Indiana 46408 – 219 980-5555. Lorenzo will be dearly missed by his loving family and dear friends.
