Pearl C. Welch

Pearl C. (Kuipers) Welch,  79, of Gary, Indiana passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 with her loving family  by her side.  She was born March 6, 1940 to Andrew and Anna Kuipers, Sr.   She married the love of her life, Earl Welch, Sr. on August 16, 1958 and they were married for 61 years. Earl preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children; Andrea Palmer, Earl Welch, Jr., Robert Welch, Sr., Julie Welch; eight grandchildren, Amy, Eric, Amanda, Jacob, Rachel, Robert, Jr., Brandon and Justin; five great-grandchildren, Summer, Eric, Jr., Henry Jackson, Robert III, and Isabelle; brother, Russell (Pam) Kuipers and sister, Ruth Ann Czysczon; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  She was an avid quilter and crafter.  She made many wedding cakes.   She was always working with her hands and if not she wasn’t happy.  The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, Indiana 46408 – 219 980-5555.  Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Joe Anweiler officiating.  At rest, Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, Indiana.  Pearl will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
