Alice Jeanette Perry

Alice Jeanette Perry, Merrillville, Indiana, age 78, passed away on April 29, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Walter and Marie Mitchell.

Alice was a graduate of Tolleston High School class of 1962. She was employed by Lever Brothers, where she retired in 2002. She was an active member of Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana for 34 years and served on the Usher Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marie Mitchell; sister, Carolyn Mitchell; and 2 brothers, David and Sherman Mitchell; and niece, Tiffanie Mitchell.

Survived by 4 sons; Carlton (Monica) Perry, Columbus, OH., Brian (Anita) Perry, Sunnydale, CA., Troy Perry, Memphis, TN., and Sean Perry, Gary, Indiana; 3 sisters, Arlene (Eno) Garcia, Cocoa, FL., Doris Vinson, and Latanya Mitchell,Gary, IN.; sister-in-law, Annette Mitchell, Merrillville, IN.; brother-in-law, Eno Garcia, Cocoa, FL.; granddaughter, Toi Perry; 6 grandsons, Troy Perry, Jr., Carlton Perry, Jr., Brian Perry, Jr., Andrew Kheen, Jordan Perry, and Julian Perry; 4 nieces, Jackie Fox, Alexandria Mitchell, Nicole Vinson, and Symone Clark; 3 nephews, John Fox, IV, Mark Adams, and Derrick Vinson; 2 great-grandsons, Troy Donnell Perry III, and Joel Donnell Perry; great nephew, Noah David Turner, Las Vegas, NV, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service Thursday, May 11, 2023 from Family Christian Center 340 45th St. Munster, Indiana.  Interment private.
