Audeel Mitchell

Mrs. Audeel Ann Mitchell, born October 13, 1944, passed away on August 21, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Doretha Nickles; husband, David H. Mitchell; son, Nokomis H. Mitchell Sr.; sister, Neta D. Nickles; and two brothers, Oscar Jerry and George E. Nickles, Jr.  Ann graduated from Higgins High School in Mc Comb, MS.   Audeel was a homemaker and owner/operator of Neet's Lounge in Gary, Indiana for many years.  She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Andre D. Mitchell of Gary, IN; sister, Lillie Marie McElwee of Mc Comb, MS; four grandchildren; Nokomis Mitchell, Jr., Tiera Hicks, Samantha Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell all of Gary, IN; Mitchell Family in Birmingham, AL., neighbor, friend and caretaker, Michelle IsBell; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.  Visitation Friday  August 28, 2020 10am-11am with Homegoing Services at 11am from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, IN. 46408.  Rev. T. Brian Hill of New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Merrillville, In. officiating.  Interment is private. May God bless the Mitchell families.
