Aurelia Lopez

Aurelia Lopez, age 94, passed away February 7, 2025.  Preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Alfredo, II; son, Alfredo Lopez, III,  grandson, Jason Oliver; and loving parents, Juan and Rosa Chacon.

Aurelia is survived by her sons, Antonio, Alexander, Alvaro (Maryann), and Arnold; daughter, Rosa; grandchildren Chasidy (Juan) Raygoza, Crystal (Rich) Wheeler, Ruben (Celeste), Oliver, Sierra, Michael, Angela (Jim), Kulina, Matthew (Linda), Christopher, and Alex (Lydia), Justice Joy ; 11 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, special niece, Martha Rodriguez and other loving family members. A special thank you to her caregiver, Martha Hinojosa, and her granddaughter, Demi Lopez.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Burial immediately following services. "Guella" will be deeply missed by her loving family. May God Grant Her Eternal Peace.
