Betty L. Jones

Mrs. Betty Jones, age 84, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on June 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis Sr.; beloved son, Willis Jr.; granddaughter, Faith Hope; parents, and many siblings.

She was a stay-at-home wife and mother to her children.

Betty is survived by her loving children, Donald (Donna) Jones, Ronald Jones, Paula (Kenneth) Hancock, Sandra (Donald) Strickland, Sandy (Gary) Cronister-Lorenz; daughter-in-law, Leyna Jones; siblings, Paul, Mary, Judy, Helen, William, Donna, and Cindy; grandchildren, Erin (Eric) Austin, Kyle (Jennifer) Scott, Roy (Kathrine) Cantrell, Karl (Ralasha) Hogewoning, William (Rosa) Jones, Tiffany (Leo) Nunez, Jr., Amber (Steven) Rodriquez, Breanna (Adam) Blade, Sammy Hancock, Kenny Hancock, Jr., Holly (Ronald) Kelly, Matthew (Michele) Cronister, Eddie Cronister, Jeremy Cronister, and many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. There will be a graveside service that will be announced as well as a few celebrations of her life that will be posted on family members Facebook pages in the near future.
