Charlie, a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and proud veteran, passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 83. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, selfless protection, and a guiding light that navigated his family through life's greatest challenges.
A man of immense character, Charlie was the ultimate definition of what it means to be a provider. He served his country with honor as a veteran of the United States Army, carrying those values of discipline and loyalty into every aspect of his life. He believed that the true measure of a man was found in his labor and his love; to him, hard work wasn't just a duty-it was the way he ensured those he loved were always taken care of.
To his children and grandchildren, he was a navigator. He steered his family through doubts and fears, always offering a stable hand and a clear path forward. He was a source of endless wisdom and warmth, teaching the next generation the value of a job well done and the importance of family. He was a friend to many, and his presence was a constant comfort. The worth of his life is truly priceless, leaving a void that can only be filled by the lessons he taught and the memories he created.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Lupercio and Auristela Berrios; his two sons, Orlando "Tito" Berrios and Charles "Chase" Berrios; his brothers, Joseph and Michael Berrios; and his sister, Iris Rodriguez.
He is survived by his children, Nelson and Maricela Berrios; his seventeen plus grandchildren; his siblings, Enery and Giana Berrios; and many friends who will miss him dearly.
