Collins Small, Jr. was born on July 3, 1980 to Collins Small Sr. and Odessa "Knox" Small in Gary, Indiana. Collins was affectionately known as "Boss" to family and "Bishop" to friends. Collins graduated from Horace Mann High School. Self-employed until he took his rest. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Gary, Indiana. Collins loved to joke, laugh, and talk trash, this is the way he was and his full of life ways will be missed by many. Collins loved to dress wanting to always look good for the ladies. To his family, he was known as Boss or Boss Hog. A son who called his mother and auntie every morning, a brother who never forgot to check in on the ones he loved. He never met a stranger and if he cared about you, you were known as "Fam" or "Cuzo". Always showing love to his children, and many nieces and nephews. Social Media allowed him a voice "What it Do" and when he went live "Let me get my numbers up", because he had something to say. Collin's assignment here on earth ended October 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Collins Small, Sr.; grandparents, Rev. O.D. and Adella Knox, Henry and Flora Mae Small, and Dorothy Carter; two aunts, Grandia Faye Filmore, Mollie Jean Knox; two uncles, Clarence Knox, Jimmy Lee Knox, and brother, Timothy Small Sr. Collins leaves to cherish his memories; three special children; son, Collins Small II, Shannon McKnight and daughter, Kelly Cross; loving and devoted mother, Odessa Knox; devoted step-father, Earl Carter; loving sister, Tiffany (Nicholas) Dillon; god-brother, Quaylo (Keyona) Wade; five great aunts, Ora Lee Smith, Thelma (Andrew) Bowden, Teeda Dillon, Eulal Mae Pam, Willie Ella Williams; three aunts, Lilene (Jeffery) Knox, Brenda Martin, Willie Mae Blue; four uncles, Jim Filmore, Frank Martin, Drew Carter, Howard (Daisy) Carter; special friend, Zerada Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives.
