Connie Lou Love

On March 23, 2022, Connie Lou Love passed away peacefully at the age of 79.  Connie was born July 11, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio.  Connie was an exceptional mother and grandmother. 

She always ensured that every person who crossed her path was appreciated and loved.  In recent times she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy with a bowl of popcorn cooked over the stove.  She will always be remembered singing and dancing to all of her favorite songs.  Her spirit will live on through her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her son, David (Amber) Love; daughter, Julie (Matthew) Thomas; eight grandchildren, Allison (Anthony) Ferrell, Taylor Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Matthew C. Thomas, Madeline Love, David A. Love, Ambrielle Sedino, and Ethan Sedino.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Evelyn Grandy; two sisters, Bonnie and Donna Grandy, daughter-in-law, Magda Love and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be Friday, April 1, 2022, 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana, with inurnment immediately following at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
