We were very blessed to have learned several valuable lessons from David during his 56 years of life. David Bruce German Sr., born May 13, 1963, in Gary, Indiana to Harris and Mary German, peacefully entered eternal life with God on Easter Sunday (April 12, 2020). David was a strong, brave and loving soul who willingly displayed love and protection for his family. David enjoyed sports. Especially, basketball, and it was always a major aspect of his life. David played baseball, football, and basketball throughout his childhood. David was a proud Horace Mann High School Class of 1982 alumni, in which he was a star basketball player. Davis instilled the life of sports and most importantly, education into his children. David was well known for his dedication towards his family. David worked tirelessly for his family and he retired from the steel/manufacturing industry after 28 years of service. David also prioritized his wife's happiness and he always cherished all of their years of love. David always taught his children the value of a tight-knit family. He instilled the value of loving one another. David is preceded in death by his father, Harris German, mother, Mary German, as well as his brothers, Harris Jr., and Charles. David is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Eugenia, four loving children, two daughters, Precious and Princess, two sons, David Jr., and Eugene. David is also survived by his wonderful grandchildren, Dream, DeAnna, DeAndre Jr., and Prince.
