David C Guajardo

David C. Guajardo, age 74, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022.  He was born August 20, 1947, in Raymondville, Texas to Samuel and Leonarda Cantu-Guajardo.  

Preceded in death by Juan and Oscar's mother, Estefana Guajardo; brother, Samuel Guajardo Jr., of East Chicago, Indiana; two sisters, Lydia (Esteban) Garza of Raymondville, Texas,  and Alicia (Esequiel) Reyes of Rockford, Illinois.

David leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories  two brothers, Juan (Martha) Guajardo and Oscar (Maria) Guajardo; loving children, Jesus Rios, Lisa Rios, Latricia (Gregory) Rios, and Rene (Tina) Rios; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was employed with the school city of East Chicago from 1980- 2006 as a maintenance technician..

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.  May he rest in peace !

Celebration of Life for David will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Moose Lodge 7500 Cline Ave. from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.  All are invited  to attend and share memories with the family.
