DeMoira Monique Williams

 DeMoira Monique Williams, a.k.a. “Nikkie,” age 45 of Hammond IN exchanged time for eternity on December 29, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at her home in Hammond, IN. DeMoira was born on April 30, 1973 to Clyde and Gale Williams. She was raised in Gary IN and graduated from West Side High School. Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Gale Williams; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Gennell) Williams and maternal grandfather, Mr. Monroe Kelly. Nikkie leaves to cherish her memories her two loving children, Daveion Williams and Tianna Williams; godchild, Ashley Williams; her service dog, Maxx a Million; a host of other loving family members and precious friends. Visitation will be on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Family and Friends are invited to join The Celebration Of “Nikkie’s” Life on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Nikkie will be dearly missed by her loving, devoted family and precious friends. God Grant Her Eternal Peace.
