Delores C Watkins

Delores C. Watkins, 95, of Gary, Indiana, passed away on May 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Vinson; her mother, Rosetta Thomas; siblings, Robert Kirkland, Blondie Simmons, and Jessie Daniels.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Manuel Watkins whom she was married to for 67 years; her son, Gregory Watkins; her daughter, Greta (Gary) Gillis; and her grandchildren; great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with Homegoing Services 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. from Greater First Baptist Church 4862 Olcott  Avenue East Chicago, Indiana 46312. Bishop Tavis Grant, Pastor. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery 4401 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.
