Diana Lynn Adkins

Diana Lynn Adkins, 75, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on June 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Diana was born in Robson, West Virginia on June 19, 1949, to Roy and Jewell Casey. She wed Gary Adkins on September 2, 1967.

Diana is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gary; two children, Kimberly Diane Martinez of Hammond, Indiana and Gary Wayne Adkins, Jr. of Dyer, Indiana; six grandchildren, Javier Martinez, Jr., Hallie Pohrte, Joshua Martinez, Justin Adkins, Chandler Adkins, and Ekaterina Adkins; brothers, Roy Casey, Jr., and Chris Casey; sisters-in-law, Marylou Casey and Deidra Casey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jewell Casey. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Friday, June 13, 2025, family will have a procession at 12:00 p.m. to Ridgelawn Cemetery 4401 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana at 46408 for interment.
