Donna Lee Grandy

Donna Lee Grandy, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 18, 2020.  She was born January 5, 1938 in Shaker Heights, Ohio to Evelyn (Anderson) Grandy and Donald Grandy. She attended Sun Beam School in Cleveland, Ohio.  During her early adulthood Donna was actively involved in many events with Camp Echoing Hills in Ohio.  Donna made a special impact on all who knew her.  She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like chatting with friends on her laptop and spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her sister, Connie Love, niece, Julie (Matt) Thomas, nephew, David (Amber) Love and many "great" nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Bonnie Grandy.  Family and friends whose lives Donna touched are invited to share in a Memorial Service on Friday, October 2, 2020, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN. 46408.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Donna's name to Camp Echoing Hills, 36272 CR 79, Warsaw, Ohio 43844 or by using the following link https://www.ehvi.org/contact-us/donate/?fbclid=1wAR2_36CHDDIRAnOZYSDWTM4_tSzeAoftt3oreNMSO-GtitBcEMVGvHq-sHO.
