Doris J. Lanier

On December 12, 2021, Doris Lanier was called home to heaven.  Doris was a loving wife to Wiley "Roy" Lanier for 58 years before his passing in 2008.  Doris was also preceded in death by her daughter, Gina; granddaughter, Pamela; and great-granddaughter, Ashley.

Doris was a loving mother to her 5 children, Ricky Lanier, Linda (Jim) Thacker, Sharon Davis, Greta Crosslin, and Gina Molina; she was a loving Nana to 10 grandchildren, who will always cherish her loving ways; also 14 great-grandchildren who will cherish her always. Her family always came first , and for that we are very grateful.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana. 46408.  God bless the Lanier families.
