Eloy Hernandez

It is with unexpected sadness that Eloy Hernandez, age 60, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021.  He is survived by his mother, Helen Hernandez; three brothers, John (Pam), Raul, and Tito; four sisters, Tina, Lisa (Roy), Yoli (Rich), and Rosie (Mark); his four children, Bruce (Tia), Tiffany, Brian (Katie), and Christopher (Erica); his eight grandchildren, Avery, Julianna, Antonio, Christopher Jr., Hunter, Olivia, William, and Emily, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Eloy was loved by all who met him, he was truly one of a kind.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandpa.  Eloy was hard working, and helped anyone who needed it.  Everyone who met him knew his love for hunting.  His legacy will be carried on through his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  He is resting peacefully with his wife, Diane Hernandez.  Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.  Visitation will be  Wednesday, May 12, 2021 10:00 am- 12:30 pm with a prayer service from 12:30 pm- 1:00 pm from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana.  Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery immediately following .
