Elvira Navarro

Elvira Navarro, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Hammond-Whiting Care Center in Whiting, Indiana.  She was born on October 21, 1928, in Kearney, Nebraska to Antonio Navarro and Antonia Samano Navarro.  Elvira Navarro leaves behind her loving nephew, Jorge Navarro; 9 loving great nieces and nephews, Yesenia E. (Stacy) Boye, Ruby M. (Michael) Babich, Claudia L. Navarro, Alexandra M (Ivan) Cordova, Jorge H. Navarro, Orlando D. (Veronica) Navarro, Edgar O. Navarro, Eva Santiago, and Angel Rodriguez, 6 loving great-great nieces and nephews, and other family members.  Preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Jose, Serafin, Rodolfo, Maria, Jesus and Antonio Navarro.  Elvira worked for the School city of East Chicago for 19 years.  Elvira will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted family and dear friends.  God Grant Her Eternal Rest.  Due to Covid-19, services for Ms. Navarro will be PRIVATE !
