Eric A Carman Sr.

Eric A. Carman, age 52, of Gary, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2022, at his residence. He was born September 6, 1970, in Gary, Indiana to Paul Pollard and Marcia Carman. 

Eric was a 1988 graduate of West Side High School.  He was a talented artist, an avid fisherman, a tennis pro and coach, an avid historian and truth seeker, and was a fountain of useful knowledge.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Leroy Sr. and Virginia Carman; his loving aunt/sister, Audrey Carman; and uncle Leroy Carman.

Eric leaves to forever love him, devoted and caring wife,; Diane; his beloved children, Damario (Kharonda) Vasquez, Miranda Szemes, Eric Carman, Jr., and Daniel Carman; loving parents, Marcia Carman, and Paul (Pat) Pollard; brothers and sisters, Brad (Cynthia) Alpuche, Nichole (Rashaun) Funches, Tony Alpuche, Angelette Crumble, Tony (Bobbi) Pollard, Roy Pollard; brother-in-law, Mark (Christine) Vasquez, and numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Tira Peak, and very special friend, Tanya Ivey.

Eric has left a huge void in our home and in our lives. We will miss him always.

Visitation Wednesday, September 14, 2022 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.  Interment will be PRIVATE.
