Estelle (Gervais) Souris

Estelle (Gervais) Souris, formerly of Calumet Township, (also formerly of East Chicago and Gary, Indiana), passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022, due to natural causes.  Estelle was surrounded by her loving family as she transitioned.

Estelle's life began in 1929, in East Chicago, Indiana.  Her parents, the late Ed Gervais and the late, Lucy Gervais immigrated to the United States and had four children. 

Preceded in death by her children, Gregory Souris, and Cathy Souris Tharp, two sisters, Carmen Gervais Oppman, Rita Gervais Nardini and brother, Donald Gervais.

Estelle is survived by her four loving children, Donna Souris- (Jack) Newsome, Dan Souris, Jerry Souris, and John Souris; and a host of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana.  Interment will be private.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED BY ALL ATTENDEES VACCINATED OR UNVACCINATED.
