Esther Margarita Espinosa

 
Esther Margarita Espinosa, 69 years old was born December 21,1952 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to her parents Higinio and Margarita Espinosa.

She was preceded by her father Higinio Espinosa Sr. 

Esther enjoyed cooking, dancing, Christian music, and helping the needy people with food and clothing. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Esther was a loving, caring and a giving person. 

She was the oldest of 9 siblings Benjamin, Antonio, Higinio Jr., Rosita, Zoraida, Juanita, Miriam and Jose. She was raised in Brunswick, Gary, Indiana and later moved to East Chicago, Indiana.

She surrendered her life to the Lord many years ago, when she attended a Pentecostal Church at the Salvation Army in East Chicago, led by Bishop Brent Endris. Her faith in God was genuine.

While being attended by close family Esther sadly passed away in the comfort of her home on October 14, 2022.  She will be truly missed by her family and friends. She will never be forgotten and will always  in our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memories, six children JoAnn, Jesse, Mary (Polo), Evelyn (Javier), Joseph (Lisa), Lucy (Elliot) and Linda and various nieces and nephews 15 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.

Visitation Thursday, October 20, 2022, 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. with Funeral Services 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. from Solid Rock Experience Church 765 Massachusetts St. Gary, Indiana.  Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
