Guadalupe Duque

Guadalupe Duque, 60, of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021.  She was born and raised in Gary "Brunswick" , IN to Jesse and Fortunata Duque on January 26, 1960.  She is the youngest of 9, preceded in death by her parents and oldest brother, Jesse Duque.  She has joined her life partner Mario Garcia in paradise after 13 years apart.  She is survived by her children Raymond, Jayme, and Andrea (Mother of grandchildren), and Febe (fur baby).  Grandchildren, Raymond, Jr., Monique, Mia, Miyah, and Romeo.  Lupe Duque, as she was known to all, lived her life to the fullest. Always bringing joy and laughter to those she was around.  She was well known for her delicious desserts and infectious laugh.  Always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends.  Lupe Duque enjoyed spending time at concerts, hanging out on her patio, sharing funny things on Facebook, and hanging out with her baby Febe.  She was definitely one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all.  Unfortunately, due to COVID a private viewing will be held for family.  A memorial service is planned in months to come when COVID permits.  Lupe's last wishes were to be cremated and ashes spread somewhere beautiful.  God bless the Duque families.
