Hydee (Aidee) Gonzalez, 64, of Dyer, IN. passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Hydee was born in East Chicago, IN, and preceded in death by parents Rafael and Julia Gonzalez. She was one of six siblings. Our hearts are heavy with great sorrow of her loss. Hydee was born with her heavenly wings. She lived a life free from sin and amazing strength that endured the challenges she faced due to her special needs. Hydee loved God and gospel music. Hydee was always in good spirits despite her circumstances. She loved and could, in record-breaking time, take down a diet coke. She loved music, people, and jokes. She will never be forgotten. She taught us love, patience and respect. Hydee is survived by and still lives through her siblings, Marion, Ralph, Johnny and Miquel; her nephews, Ian and Tom; and her niece Alexis. Until we meet again our dearest Hydee. The name Aidee means reward or present, which she certainly was. A private memorial will be held by the family. God bless the Gonzalez families.
