Irma Lee Williams

Mrs. Irma Lee Williams, age 96, departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at home in Gary, Indiana.  Irma was born on March 13, 1925, in Shaw, Mississippi.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Beasley, her husband, Sam Williams, her sons, Jesse, Ernest, and George; son-in-laws, Nathan Holder and Victor Robinson; and great granddaughter, Ashley.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son, Robert Lee (Barbara) Johnson of Griffith, Indiana, daughters Jamesetta Holder of Gary, Indiana, Elise Robinson of Rex, Georgia, Darlene G. Richardson of Gary, Indiana; special endearing love to her 9 grandchildren, Robert Johnson, Jr., Durand (Jennifer) Johnson, Terrell J. (Denise) McCuiston, Nathan Holder, III, Anthony Holder, Umparrys (Kevin) Witherspoon, Norman (Tamara)  Richardson, Kelsey Johnson, and Tracy Green; 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021, 9:00 am-11:00 am with Homegoing Services at 11:00 am-12:00 pm from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana. Pastor Terrell J. McCuiston, Sr. of Because Of The Anointing C.O.G.I.C. officiating.  Interment Oakhill Cemetery.
