Jack B Newsome

Jack B. Newsome "Pa", of Valparaiso, Indiana made peace with the Lord while surrounded by his loving family, and passed away on January 31, 2022.  Jack was born on September 8, 1927, in Kentucky.  He resided in Kentucky before becoming a permanent resident in Indiana.

Jack was a veteran of the United States Army, an avid bowler, receiving many awards, and a passionate fisherman.  Above all things, he lived a full life, blessing those who came to know him.  

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather.  Jack joins in Heaven, his loving wife of 57 years, Maxine; his parents, Robert and Icie; and his siblings, Kenny, William, Alice and Edna.

He leaves behind his son, Jack Jr. (Donna); three grandchildren, Dawn, Chrissy (Chris), and Mike (Katie); five great-grandchildren; Tam, Ally, Emma, Jacob, Julia, and Colin; two great-great grandchildren, Tanner and Felix; his dog, Rusty, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends he considered family.

In honor of his final wishes, no services will be held.  A family "Fish Fry" in celebration of his life will take place in the Summer.
