John C Tovo

John C. Tovo, age 66, of Gary, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.   John was one of three sons born to John L. and Doris Tovo.

John was a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan.  He loved bowling and golfing.  He also loved spending time with his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Doris Tovo; daughter, Kimberly A. Tovo; sister, Doris J. Enzian Tovo; brother-in-law, David Enzian, and nephew, Daniel P. Enzian.

John is survived by his son, John J. (Michelle). Tovo; daughter, Tracy F. Tovo; sister, Judith (Roger) Scott; two brothers, Louis Tovo and James (Lori) Tovo; grandchildren, Jacob J. Tovo, Brianna R. Gutierrez, Zackary and Branden Shonk, Kaitlin and Kyle Tovo, Emily L. Vaughn, Colin and Grace Tovo; three great-grandchildren, Mariah White, Violet, and Noah Tovo; nephews, David Enzian and Ryan Scott; nieces, Candice Tovo, Niami Anderson and Kimberly Bridges, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2022 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.
