Jolanda Espinosa

Jolanda Espinosa, age 83, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away unexpectantly on August 26, 2024. She was born in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Carlos and Mary Godines.

Jolanda's fondest moments were spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her family. Her fun time was listening to her Mexican music and dancing. She cherished her brothers and sisters and loved it when they would come by to visit.

She was a loving and devoted mother who would do anything to make her children were never in need of anything. She was "THE ROCK"  and "COMFORTER" of the family. We will miss her dearly.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan; her parents; her sister, Honey; and her brother, Manuel.

Jolanda leaves to cherish her memories: 3 sons, John (Andrea) Espinosa of Hammond, Indiana, Pedro (Cindy) Espinosa of East Chicago, Indiana, and Ruben Espinosa of Columbia, Missouri; sisters, Gloria and Christina; brothers, Carlos and Mike; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, September 4, 2024, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery 4401 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.
