Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez, 65, of Gary, IN, passed away May 14, 2019.  He was born in Winamac, IN to Elias and Olivia (Flores) Hernandez on April 22, 1954.  He is survived by the love of his life Dana D. Robinson; children, Tina Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez, Natalie Hernandez, Rhea Brown, Rachel Robinson, Rena Robinson, Richard Robinson, John Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez, and Jessica Hernandez; host of grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Ochoa, his parents, Elias and Olivia Hernandez and his brother, John Hernandez.  Jose will be remembered for his love of work and his Miller High Life lunch.   He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his friends.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 - 219 980-5555.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday following the visitation at the funeral home.  Joe will be dearly missed by his loving family and dear friends.
