Joseph Vincent Parisi, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2022. He was born on June 18, 1947 to Joe and Ruth (Cummins) and grew up on the South side of Chicago.
After graduating from Mendel Catholic, he was an avid drummer in the rock group Rush, who relocated to Franconia, New Hampshire and became the house band at the Hillwinds. he was an active skier and passed his love of the mountains along to his family. His ability to disarm and connect with anyone made him a crowd favorite. He was an active member of the Mortgage Broker Association and was involved in coaching youth baseball and hockey.
He is survived by his sister, Maureen; his three children, Vincent, Jon, and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Graham, Logan, and Charlotte, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Services to honor Joe will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from St. Lambert's Church 8148 North Karlov Avenue Skokie, Illinois 60076. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in his memory to the Allston-Brighton Youth Hockey Association. (https://www.abyha.com/)
