Kentawon Ricky Marshall, 47, made his transition from a semi-truck crash early Saturday morning June 14, 2025, at Saint Joseph Regional Hospital in Marshall County, Indiana. He was born to his loving parents, Henry and Barbara Marshall on March 15, 1978.
He is survived by his most cherished, devoted son, Kentawon Marshall and his loving sister, Latricia Marshall; and a host of loving uncles, aunts and amazing cousins.
Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Henry and Louise Marshall and Willie and Nadine Reed; Aunt, Marilyn Louise (Peaches) Marshall; Uncles, Kenneth, Bobby, David, and Robert Kennedy (Reed).
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and started his family at Bibleway Church of God's Word. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School Class of 1996, with honors and continued his education at Purdue Northwest and Indiana State University.
Kentawon was a dedicated Certified Truck Driver and Trainer for over 25 years. Before his transition he was an employee for Martin Transportation System. He started working at a young age alongside his grandparents and parents' place of business.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2025, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Homegoing Services 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. from Bibleway Church of God's Word 220 East 49th Avenue Gary, Indiana 46409. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery 4401 West Ridge Road 46408.
