Leon John Delgado

Leon Delgado, age 46, of St. John, Indiana, passed away unexpectantly on Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born October 19, 1976, to Lidia and John Delgado.

Leon is survived by his loving wife, Jessica; adoring daughters, Hayleigh and Savannah; beloved mother, Lidia Delgado; brothers, Aaron (Norma), Daniel, and Greg Delgado; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Delgado, and uncle, Dave Gonzalez.

Leon was a graduate of Morton High School and was a proud veteran of The United States Marines. He was employed with Altom Oil Company as a truck driver. 

He enjoyed traveling and cooking with his family. Most importantly, he loved being a husband and father. Leon will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

Friends are invited to visit with Leon's family on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.  Military Honors will be promptly at 3:00 p.m.
