Marvin L. Bell

 Marvin Bell, 87, of Gary, IN passed away at Franciscan Health in Hammond, IN with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 13, 1931 in Blue Ridge, GA to Lawrence and Laura (Forester) Bell. He married Bessie Bell and she survives. Marvin is also survived by his son, Nicholas (Helen Sue) Bell; step- children, Mary Johnson and Carl (Sandra) Wilkening; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Harley (Hazel) Bell, Iving Bell and Orland (Gladys) Bell; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Laura Bell; sons, Michael Marvin Bell and Jeff L. Bell; sister, Judy, and brother, Bill. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Marvin will be dearly missed by his loving family and beloved friends
