Michael Hutton, Jr., affectionately known as Lil' Mike, was gifted from God to the union of Jessie Mae (nee Gilyard) and Michael Hutton, Sr. on Thursday, the 30th day of March, 1989, at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Norly Doby-Beck and William Gilyard, together with his paternal grandparents; Mildred and Willie Hutton. Lil' Mike was raised in Hammond, Indiana, in a very family oriented environment with worthy values. He attended the Hammond Public Schools System before him, his mother and sister, Jessica Hutton, relocated to Pascagoula, Mississippi, in 2005. There, he attended Pascagoula High School, graduating with the Class of 2007. Shortly thereafter, Lil' Mike returned to his hometown of Hammond, Indiana, where he loved his 219 family and friends. He then began a relationship with Tyrika Smith and on Friday, the 14th day of August, 2015, changed his life forever- the birth of his daughter, Morghan Hutton, who instantly stole his heart beyond measures. Although Lil' Mike's life was short, he enjoyed it to the fullest ! Family was everything to him and enjoyed traveling and attending all family events; but more so, the time spent with his daughter outweighed all things. If Lil' Mike considered you a friend, you knew it by the loyalty he showed towards you. He also loved his music and often referenced lyrics "I'm a Savage", meaning he was a "Boss" and he definitely was, especially from the viewpoint of his Mama. Lil' Mike's transition leaves his legacy with his daughter, Morghan Hutton, together with her mother, Tyrika Smith. The absence of his physical presence will forever leave a void in the hearts of his parents, Jessie Mae Hutton, Michael Hutton, Sr., as well as his step-mother, Patricia Hutton, and his sister and best friend, Jessica Marie Hutton. He will also be truly missed by an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Gone, but never forgotten... March 30, 1989- October 5, 2020. May God bless the Hutton families.
