Miguel A. Flores

Miguel A. Flores, age 79, called "William" by his loved ones, died peacefully at his home in Crown Point, Indiana, surrounded by his family. William was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to Jorge and Petra Flores.

He was employed with Inland Steel and retired after 32 years of loyal and dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Adalberto Flores, Sr.

Miguel is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carmen Flores and their 6 children: Ben (Tammy) Serrano, Rick (Tanya) Serrano, Cynthia (Luis) Molina, Susan (Joe) Higham, Norma Williams and Sylvia Flores; brother, Carmello Flores; sister, Anne Torres; 15 grandchildren, Victoria, Chase, Brittany, Alexis, Marc, Rick, II, Maulie, Jared, William, Clarissa, Charisma, AmayaRose, Maranda, Hayden and Javier; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation Thursday, September 14, 2023, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with additional visitation Friday, September 15, 2023, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., all services held from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.
