Minerva (Lazar) Williams

Minerva (Lazar) Williams, 100, passed away October 1, 2022 at St. Anthony Majestic Care in Crown, Point, Indiana.  She was born in Hobart, Indiana on March 11, 1922 to John and Mary (Sopa) Lazar.  She grew up with many siblings:  Brothers; Eli, John, Dan, Nick, and Steve; Sisters, Mary, Helen, Jean, and Vicki.  She is survived by her children, Sandy (Val) Lisowsky, Tom (Nancy) Jones, Nancy (Steve) Oldham, David Williams and Joann Borns (Bob Null).  She was also survived by her 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren 1 Great, Great Grandson.  She graduated from Hobart H.S. in 1941.  Minerva was a devout Christian and avid gardener. She was a member of many years at the Beacon Light Church in Gary, Indiana.  She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.
