Nick Sanchez

 Nick F. Sanchez “POP”​​, 63, of Gary,IN, passed away on November 7, 2018.He was born in Chicago, IL on June 16,1955, son of the late Nick Tovar and Rose Limon. He is survived by his 4 sons and daughter; Nick Jr, Jose’, Josie(Moon), Peter, and Rudy Sanchez, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his ten brothers and sisters, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by his best friend Randall and two exwives Doris (Jean) York and Linda Mendez. Nick was a union laborer out of Local #75 for 38 years before he retired in 2010. After retiring he began to bartend the neighborhood bar “The Friendly” , where he loved to cook. Friends and family would come for his Taco Wednesday. He was a caring man always ready and willing to help his family and friends whenever and however they needed. Nick engaged and lived life the way he wanted! He will be missed dearly by his family and friends
