Olivia Castillo

Mrs. Olivia Castillo, age, 88, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Hammond Whiting Care Center in Whiting ,In.. She leaves a legacy of love to her children, Roy Saldana, Irma Navarez, Rachel (Jesse) Gonzalez, and Nick Castillo, 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas, children, Tony Castillo and Esther Hartis, granddaughter, Monica Martinez. Olivia loved cooking her Sunday family dinners which included many of her favorites, mexican rice, tortillas, menudo, caldo de res, and tamales. She also loved dancing, especially to Tejano music.  Olivia will be truly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
