In Loving Memory of Paul Cantu December 15, 1944-May 2, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Cantu, who departed this life on May 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on December 15, 1944, to Pablo and Angeline Cantu, he lived a full life of laughter, passion, and simple joys.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Antonia Cantu whose memory he cherished deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and resilience.
Paul had a deep unwavering faith that guided him throughout his life. He loved reading the Bible and found great joy and purpose in studying and teaching God's Word. Whether in quiet moments of reflection or in conversation with others, he shared scripture with sincerity and wisdom. His passion for the Word inspired those around him, and his faith was a steady light that brought comfort and strength to his family and community.
Paul was a fan of sports, but had a special love for basketball, both watching and playing it. He found joy in the little pleasures of life-especially dining at buffet restaurants, where he enjoyed good food and good company.
He had a deep appreciation for classic entertainment. from the clever comedy of Monty Python to the timeless charm of The Andy Griffith Show, these programs brought him comfort and joy. His favorite music was the Miami Vice soundtrack, which he often played while admiring his cherished 1970 Pontiac GTO, a car he truly loved.
A true move buff, he especially enjoyed spy films- James Bond adventures were among his favorites.
He is survived by his beloved children, Raquel and Sergio, who carry forward his legacy with love and pride. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
