Pedro Mejia Jr.

Mr. Pedro Mejia, Jr. age 65, passed away July 10, 2022.  He was born in Gary, Indiana, to Pedro Sr. and Albesa Mejia, on December 7, 1956.

Always moving, he ran in many marathons in the past, and he was the family's handyman who could fix anything.  His favorite pasttime was working on his vehicles.  He enjoyed working with his hands.

Pedro was well-liked by his co-workers at Armil CFS, his last place of employment.  Previously, he worked at Gary Railway as a Carman/Welder.  He was a hard worker, caring son, loving father, and grandfather and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his children, four sons, Lorenzo (Jennifer) Mejia, Blas Guzman, Jr., Agustin Rios Guzman, and Joey Mejia; daughter, Marcela Mejia; mother, Albesa Mejia; eight siblings; Lupe, Ruben, Mary, Sylvia, Zita, Olivia, Mona, and Donna; five grandchildren, Isabel, Elise, Lorenzo, Alina, and Celina; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
