Quinton McKnight Jr.

Quinton McKnight, Jr. was born on July 1, 1959, in Gary, Indiana to Quinton Parker McKnight and Norma J. Mitchell.

He was a 1977 graduate of Lew Wallace High School.  He was a very hard worker and provider for his family.  He held numerous positions during his life, EJ&E Railroad, truck driver for Creviston Trucking, Gary Firefighter for Station # 4, and a Crane Operator for Atlas Tube for over thirty plus years, and a member of the Teamsters Union.

Quinton had many hobbies and enjoyed watching drag racing, motorcycle riding, working on his Mustang, fishing, grilling and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Norma J. Mitchell in 2020.

Quinton leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories: his beloved and devoted wife, Tracey McKnight; four daughters, Porshe, Nina, Maya, and Kayla; four sons, Arien, Quinton, Mycheal, and Corey; ten grandchildren; great cousin, Teri Thorpe of Cleveland, Ohio, and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Visitation Thursday, August 4, 2022, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with Funeral Services 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.  Interment will be private.
