Ralph Clark, 79, of Merrillville, Indiana, peacefully transitioned on March 7, 2025.
Ralph was born on April 12, 1945, to the parents of Laura Mae Epsy Clark and Frank Clark in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended St. Simons Elementary School and graduated from Roger Bacon High School. He furthered his education by attending and graduating from Ohio College of Applied Science with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He was employed by Underwriters Laboratory and retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO).
On March 28, 1970, Ralph married his high school sweetheart, Mary T. Smith, and from this blessed union they had two beautiful children, Carlos and Melissa. He was one of the founding members of the Northwest Indiana Corvette Club and remained active in community service and other club activities. Ralph was an active member of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church for many years, and he held various positions including usher, treasurer, and was a member of the men's club.
His memory will be cherished by his beloved and devoted wife of 55 years, Mary; son, Carlos (Freda); daughter, Melissa; grandchildren, Connor, Houston, Harper, and Chole; sister, Ethel Scruggs; brothers-in-law, Earl (Sylvia) Smith, Ervin (Vernita) Smith, Dwight (Jean) Smith, Milton (Bernadette) Smith; sisters-in-law, Anita Ranford, Emma (Paul) Tennyson, Shirley (Myron) Blair; nephew, Gregory (Candyce) Johnson; niece, Laura (Calvin) Davis, as well as a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Augustine's Episcopal Chruch 2425 West 19th Avenue Gary, Indiana 46404.
