ReJohnnie Scott Royster

ReJohnnie Scott Royster, age 93, of Hurtsboro, Alabama, and Gary, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.  She is survived by her beloved children: Marcia Royster, Iris Mathews, Kyle (Marcene) Royster, Rex Royster, Brett (Bonita) Royster, Lorne (Sabrina) Royster, and Sarah Royster; grandchildren, Kyle Wade Royster, II, Kendra Schrisse (Brian) Lewis, Danielle Deniece Royster,  Alyssa Danielle Jones, Antoinette Diane (Martin) Castleberry,, Andrea Johna' Mathews, Jazzmine Linette Royster, William L. (Rita) Wise, Octavia Marie Ogunleye, Ivan (Anaysha) Evans, and Dalonda Deane Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Moriah Janae Roberson, Marlin Brett Jones, Mya-Jae L.A. Wise, Orion Xavier Castleberry, Katie Alexis Mitchell, and Ashley Monique Mitchell; sister, Ruthel Samuels; brother, Walter Frazier; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

ReJohnnie is preceded in death by her husband, George F. Royster, Jr.; son, George F. Royster, III;  daughter, Helen Ruth Summers; and parents, Annie Lee Frazier and Richard Scott, Sr.

Visitation will be Monday, February 14, 2022 (which would have been her 94th birthday)  9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with Homegoing Services 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West ridge Road Gary, Indiana.  Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery  1518 East Elm Street Griffith, Indiana.  Pastor Bryan Reeves, officiating.
