Sharon Kaye Goins, passed away March 6, 2020, with her family by her side. She leaves to cherish her legacy of love, her loving and devoted children, daughter, Lisa (Norbert) Estrada of Calumet Township, IN, three sons, Albert Stephen (Angel) Goins of Telford, TN, Jason (Carrie) Goins of Jonesbourough, TN, and Adam (Leeann) Goins of Mount Vernon, IL, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren, brother, Joe (Jeannie) Woosley of Crown Point, IN, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Ruby Woosley, two brothers, Dwight and Ed Woosley, and three sisters, Wilma Malone, Deannie Smith and Nita Dayhoff. Sharon was a lifetime resident of Calumet Township, IN, and a 1963 graduate of Calumet High School. She worked her way up from part time housekeeper to manager of Crestview and Park Woods Apartment Homes. She retired from Andover Management as Leasing Agent after many years of dedicated service. Sharon loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She really loved Christmas, hosting many Christmas parties for family and extended family and friends .She was an avid Cubs Fan and was extremely excited when they won the World Series. Loving the outdoors, she went on numerous camping trips with family and friends. She was eager to learn "EVERYTHING", about everything, always asking questions about how this or that worked. In recent years she had an interest in football and cars. Among her many other loves was music, Garth Brooks and Elvis, her favorites. She was a collector of giraffes and frogs, loved game shows, especially, Jeopardy (she secretly wished she could try out for the show) and spending time playing Bunco with "The Girls." Most of all, Sharon Goins was a "GIVER". Giver of time, love and anything else she had to offer. She became Mom to many and loved with her whole heart. May she rest in peace.
