Tracey McKnight

Tracey McKnight was born on May 12, 1965, to Solomon Lawrence and Ella Mae Frieson. She entered eternal rest on February 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.

Tracey was a devoted wife and a loving, selfless mother whose life was marked by resilience, sacrifice, and unconditional love. After the passing of her beloved husband, Quinton McKnight, Jr., she courageously took on the role of both mother and father, becoming the backbone of her family. Through hardship and heartache, she remained steadfast, nurturing her children with grace, faith, and unwavering determination.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children; sons, Arien, Quinton, Mycheal, and Corey; daughters, Porsche, Nina, Maya, and Kayla; siblings, Kevin, Laron, and Duawn; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Tracey was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Quinton McKnight, Jr.

Tracey McKnight will be forever remembered for her strength, her kindness, and deep love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the children she raised with unwavering devotion.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408.

Interment will be private.
