Vincent Diaz, Sr.

  Vincent Diaz, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023. Born on July 24, 1945, in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Zacaria V. Diaz and Antonia Diaz.

Throughout his life, Vincent Diaz was known for his hard working, baseball skills, and working at the steel mill. He dedicated himself to his family.

Vincent Diaz, Sr. is survived by his son, Vincent Diaz, Jr.; his siblings, Felix and Victor Diaz of Gary, Indiana, Lucy (Geno) Castro of Orlando, Florida; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.

In honor of Vincent Diaz, Sr. visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
